-- When creating an account on this site, you can register with whatever name you wish to as it will be your login, however within 24hours we fully expect you to have changed the name to reflect there character's name (characters first or nickname and last name) that you will be using by editing the profile. If you have not done so within a week your character may be considered abandoned and might be removed from the site.
-- Advertise only on the advertising section, do not put up adverts on our c-box or in your character's signatures.
-- You must have an approved profile before you begin rping. However you can post up your charry's housing request at the same time you put up your profile for approval to minimize the wait involved in the enrollment process. When creating a new Profile, the title of the subject should be your characters name should be last name in caps and then first name, as follows: LASTNAME, First Name plz.
-- No Mary Sues or Gary Stus. No one is perfect or all powerful.
-- Plot Twists: the staff reserves the right to throw out a plot twist into your threads which your characters will then have to rp.
-- The bad word filter is off so it is up to you to keep your profanity to a minimum or put a warning of (PF) in the subject line of the thread. If you have a topic that has explicit violence put (VC) in the subject or title of the thread. Same goes for sex, put (SC) up there. Only the person who posted the first post in a thread can change the title of the thread after the fact, if you have problems or don't understand then pm the admin.
-- Though we issue the power, I occasionally have a hard time choosing an ability for someone so it is highly suggested after you put up your character's profile to be approved you look at the list of abilities and choose 1 to 3 and either put them in the specified place on the bio template or pm admin with your power suggestions. Once your power is issued there will be no complaints or swapping of a power. Some may have more than one power, this is totally up to the staff to choose who, and there will be no complaints about how some have more or less.
-- Children characters under the age of 10 may be issued a power, but they can not display that power until they are at least 10 years old, and therefore there will be no child under the age 10 at the academy. Children under the age of 13 may not enroll at the academy, and must therefore reside at the quarantine facility until they reach that age and be illegible to enroll as a freshman.
-- We will only put a limit on things if they get out of control, ie the male to female ratio or the pregnancy numbers get too abundant, or we end up with too many in one grade compared to another. -- This site is a sister site to my Valentine Past & Future site, however this site only has one time line. Characters can transfer from Valentine to Atlas or vice versa (from the future time line of VAP&F only), just pm admin about it. However this is not Valentine Academy, some things are different here. It is up to the role players to make this place what it will be.
-- If you chose to delete a character, you must inform the admins, either by a post on the general, or in a pm. It isn't required, but would be helpful to us, if you would also give us a little info on the character(s) you are deleting, such as what year of student, links to any threads they posted in that are still open and active, links to the profile, things like that just speed up the process for us who have to remove or lock things.
-- When creating an account and modifying your profile, please leave the personal text section blank, as this is where we will put in your character's power.
-- Sigs and Avs: sig may be no larger than 500widex250height - avs may be no larger than 200widex250height - secondary sigs (couples banners or child banners or NPC banners added beneath the main character's sig) may be no larger than 500widex150height - secondary avs may only be 100widex100wide.
