Felicia stepped into the lounge and though she didn't stop and openly stare, she was very very much aware that Michael Hunter was there. Ever since their one night together she had an almost eerie sixth sense about his presence, she always knew when he was within ten feet of her. Not to mention the fact that every time he was near she felt more emotional. He'd asked her out a few times, each time she'd turned him down. She wasn't willing to risk her heart on a guy with a rep like Mike had, and though he'd changed she was still afraid that she wasn't enough woman to keep him if she ever even bothered to try to keep him. And yes a single date with the man was risking her heart because she knew she was already half in love with him. Like prey skirting a predator, she worked her way toward the coffee pot and got herself a cup of coffee. Then almost as if she were rebelling against herself and tempting fate, Felicia sat down at a table in the lounge with her folder of papers and began grading them. She knew the hunter was every bit as aware of her as she was of him, but they weren't alone...yet.

Michael heard someone come in, but he didn't look right away. After Felicia got her coffee, he looks over and sees her. He slides out of his seat and walks over to the table she sat at. "Hey Felicia," he says, sitting down next to her. "How have you been?" He doesn't do anything to intimidate her, like try to kiss her or even touch her; he wished to know what she was thinking, but what he felt she was feeling was apprehension. "Why are you afraid of me?" he asks.

Felicia finally looked at him directly at that last question. "It's not you, it's me." She said and wrinkled her nose and grinned then sighed. "I know how that sounds, but it's true. I'm not afraid of you." She told him, which was technically true, it wasn't him she as afraid of him, but rather her reaction to him. Even now she coud feel the thrill go through her and her heart start to pound.

Felicia pushed the hair out of her eyes and looked at him. She sighed and then smiled slightly. "Ok Mike, but it still wont change anything." She warned him. She gathered up all her stuff and then glanced at the coffee pot. "You got coffee in your office?" She asked, though how she planned to juggle the armload of papers she still had to grade and a coffee cup she wasn't quite sure, but it was better to concentrate on that problem than dwell on the conversation she knew they were going to have once they got to his office.
