a course geared to help non-gifted cope and understand the gifted they work with, deal with, or have in their family

Theater (theatrical drama) - Melissa Lancaster & Nico Derosena
Though this is an elective an audition is required, and the peformance or performances at the end of each semester will be your exam.

Theatrical Set Design - Cruz Dunham & Nico Derosena
set building, lighting, sound, special effects, all materials provided, though some students may be asked to provide some materials at some point.

Writing a Novel - Wyatt Palmer
how to write your own story

Poetry 101 -
basics of poetry

Journalism - Vana Corelly
basics of journalism, goal for the students to create their own school paper

Dance - Regina Black
study and application of varying types of dance from the waltz to modern choreography

Finding a Job - Kyle Morgan
resumes, job searches, interviews

Business Basics - Kyle Morgan
the basics of running your own business

Legends & Lore - Natalie Burke
(study of historic fairy tales, what did they really mean, how have they changed, etc)

Art - Lukas Covington
varying artistic expressions - sketch, paint, sculpt, etc, no thought projectors please, all materials provided, but students may purchase their own if they wish

Photography - Lukas Covington
both comercial and artistic, covers technique and application, examples of equipment will be provided, but not for student use
please bring your own camera to class

Photo Alteration - Yatima Gavriel
how to use various photo alteration programs, how to develop film in your own darkroom, and tips and tricks to using camera lenses to alter your photos

Music Appreciation - Ian Wallace
music in various forms- history, techniques, and application, all instruments will be provided, but students must pay a one time deposit to help pay for any possible damages, deposit is $20 and will be refunded at the end of the year if not used

Choir - Ava Valentine
study of singing in music, everything from opera to rock - history, techniques, and application, no sirens please

Basic Culinary Skills -
cooking- basics, standard nutrition, and application, students may be asked to purchase some basic ingredients for some recipes

Body Building -
muscle building - nutrition, study of the human musculature, and application, gym equipment supplied by the campus sports facility

Gardening -
all about plants- techniques and application, all materials will be provided

First Aid - Koralyn Ainsworth
CPR, tournaquet, basic emergency first aid, supplies provided, not recommended for those with an aversion to the sight of blood

Child Care - Elizabeth "Betty" Prince
how to care for children ages 2-5 one on one and in groups, this is not a certified course, if you wish to become a licensed child care provider you must take a state certified course from the college, and this is not a lamaze class, this class only deals with children between the ages 2 - 5 years old

Lamaze - Yatima Gavriel
lamaze for pregnant women and their birth coaches

SAT Prep - Annie Rush
an online 3 week course to help students prepare for the taking of their SATs

Survival -
similar to boot camp, teaches you how to survive in harsh conditions and stressful situations, not reccomended for those who are not in good health

Astrology - Selene Everly
the study of how the stars and planetary alignments impact and affect personalities, events, etc.

Hide & Seek - Natalie Burke
fun hands on class, creates sometimes elaborate mysteries, treasure hunts, and puzzles to help teach students to think outside the box

Gun Safety -
a course that teaches you about gun safety, and yes this can be used as preperation to take the test to gain your license to carry permit in the state of CA

Archery -
a course that progresses you through beginner to advanced proficeincy in the art of using and in some cases making of bows and arrows

Living History -
a fun course where each student chooses a time period, emerses themself in the history of it, reasearching it throughly as possible, then at the end of the semester the students will give a one hour 'show and tell' performance

Fashion Design -
good at sketching, got an idea for the next clothing craze, then this is the class for you

Cosmetology -
hair, nails, make-up, hair removal, and other beauty secrets of the industry

Jewelry Design -
study and application of jewelry making

Interior Design -
how to decorate a room or house

Big Brother/Big Sister -
this is not so much a course as a volunteer program for you to be charitable and give your most precious commodity, time, to children who need a role model in their lives

Meditation -
there will be some focus on Yoga

Comedy -
are you a budding comedian, here we will help you develop and refine your stand up act, and figure out what works for a general audience and what doesn't

Ancient Sports -
learn about and learn how to play games that once were played by Romans, Scots, Native American Indians, and various other cultures of the past

Auto Care -
basics on how to care for your vehicle, and if we get some select students with advanced knowledge they may have the oppertunity to work with some professionals to build their own race car

Foreign Languages:

Movie Production -
the students will create a 'no-budget' movie

Personal Finance - Kyle Morgan
the basics of personal finance, such as how to put yourself on a budget, do your taxes with the help of a tax software program, balance a check book, and keep yourself and your personal records organized

Hockey -
Competitive hockey and Basics of hockey

Football -
